Dorothy, bold and beautiful, just as she was on The Golden Girls show, as she was in real life. I was inspired to create a portrait of her, as I am often inspired by some nostalgia from my childhood. I often watched the show with my mother and my grandmother. The show is timeless and, to this day, brings so much laughter to every generation.
She is the start of a painting series. I had planned to launch all of the Golden Girls at once. But Dorothy turned out so well, I just couldn't wait to share her! The other three will be here within the year and by 2026.
